The Rev. Randall George "Pastor Randy" Richmond is a Louisiana Native from Ruston. He is a
graduate of Louisiana Tech University, where he received the B.S. degree in mathematics with a
minor in physics. He attended Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, PA and received
both the Master of Divinity and the Master of Christian Education degrees from Reformed Theological
Seminary in Jackson, MS. He has also received the B.S.N. degree from Creighton University in
Omaha, NE and the M.S. degree in anesthesia at Mount Marty College in Yankton, SD.
Rev. Richmond is a minister member of the Presbytery of South Louisiana, and serves this
congregation with the official title of "Organizing Pastor and Evangelist to the Community."
Pastor Randy has served as pastor to Presbyterian congregations in Liberty and Gloster, MS; George,
Iowa; and Council Bluffs, Iowa; in addition to youth ministry at the Plains Presbyterian Church here in
Zachary and teaching at Westminster Christian School in Miami, FL; Pine Hills Academy in Gloster,
MS; and Amite School Center in Liberty, MS. He also continues to practice as a nurse anesthetist
(CRNA) in Baton Rouge.
Pastor Randy is married to Teresa (Terri Townsend) Richmond, a native of the Plains community and
a Zachary High School and Southeastern Louisiana University alumna. Their son William is also a
Zachary High School graduate
